A credit history enquiry is a source of information relevant to a lending decision. Blanchardstown & District Credit Union uses the Central Credit Register (CCR) to carry out credit history checks. We will advise of the need to carry out a credit history check and make obligatory returns to the CCR on existing borrowers. The results of a credit history check can determine whether or not a loan is approved.
