A credit history enquiry is a source of information relevant to a lending decision. Blanchardstown & District Credit Union uses the Central Credit Register (CCR) to carry out credit history checks. We will advise of the need to carry out a credit history check and make obligatory returns to the CCR on existing borrowers. The results of a credit history check can determine whether or not a loan is approved.
A credit agreement, once signed, is a legally binding contract between the member taking out a loan and Blanchardstown & District Credit Union Limited. The agreement contains the Terms & Conditions under which a loan will be issued and under which it must be repaid by the member. By signing the Credit Agreement, a member agrees to be bound by its Terms and Conditions.
The majority of loan applications are assessed on the day we receive the supporting documents from you. Sometimes it can take a little longer. If it does, we will keep you informed every step of the way
