The Home Energy Saving Loan is a unique initiative supported by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (‘SEAI’) where grant funding is made available for members who borrow from their credit union to carry out works to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
You fill in EOI Form online or print it and hand in to Credit Union staff or send via email to loans@blanchardstowncu.ie . Offer ends Saturday 31st August 2019.
Once Form is received, our Scheme Coordinator arranges to conduct a Home Energy Survey within 3 days.
Once survey is complete, you are issued with a full report and given 30 days to decide on whether you wish to proceed or not.
If you decide to proceed you need to apply for a loan with us for 65% of total cost. Grant allowance of 35% is taken upfront from total cost of works.
Once loan approval is given, Scheme Co-ordinator will proceed with works, inspections and BER - assessment.
Once works are completed, invoice for 65% is issued and you pay it with loan approved from Credit Union.
