Win one of Three €1,000 Education Awards!
Blanchardstown & District Credit Union hold an annual Education Awards competition, giving away a prize of €1,000 to three lucky students. That’s a total of €3,000 in the Education Awards 2023 for our general awards. The opening date for the awards is 29 August 2023.
To participate you must:
- Be a member of Blanchardstown & District Credit Union in your own right. If you are not currently a member you can join and enter the Education Awards draw on the same day, entries close on Monday 2nd October 2023.
- The awards are open to returning students as well as freshers.
- Fill in & sign the Application Form. Please note that incomplete applications will not be entered into the competition.
- Provide Proof of acceptance, or continuation in a recognised Third Level Institution (Further or Higher Education), an Apprenticeship or Traineeship, based in Ireland.

Terms & Conditions
• Open to members of Blanchardstown & District Credit Union. If you are not currently a member you can join and enter the Education Awards draw on the same day.
• There is a total of €3,000 up for grabs in our Education Awards 2023. This will be split between THREE members, each receiving a once-off payment of €1,000, payable at the discretion of Blanchardstown & District Credit Union.
• Proof of acceptance, or continuation in a recognised Third Level Institution (Further or Higher Education), an Apprenticeship or Traineeship, based in Ireland is required prior to the draw being conducted. All applications with any outstanding information/proof of
acceptance will not be entered into the competition.
• Entrants must be members of Blanchardstown & District Credit Union in their own
right on or before the draw takes place. Likewise all applications submitted for those who are not members as of the closing date, will also not be entered into the draw.
• One application per student is permitted to be entered into any Education Bursary award competition held by Blanchardstown & District Credit Union in 2023.
• The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Monday 2nd October 2023.
• The THREE successful applicants will be chosen by a draw from completed applications received for this competition.
• The Draw for the Education Awards will be conducted in the week commencing 2nd October and the results will be announced on Monday 9th October 2023.
• Winners will be notified by phone call and the result will be posted on the Blanchardstown & District Credit Union website, social media platforms and in the office.
• A presentation will be made to award winners in our offices and winners will be requested to attend same. Photographs & videos will be taken at the presentation and can be used at Blanchardstown & District Credit Union’s discretion, in local media and on our website and on social media platforms.
• Children and members of management, staff, directors, board or volunteers
of Blanchardstown & District Credit Union are not eligible to enter the draw for the Education Awards.
• The Board of Blanchardstown & District Credit Union reserves the right to amend Terms & Conditions, if necessary, at any time.

This year, we have an additional 2 prizes of €1,000 specifically for TUD Blanchardstown students! So if you’re a student of TUD Blanchardstown, you can apply to our TUD Blanchardstown Education Awards.
To enter, please call into our members hall and ask for a TUD Blanchardstown application form. Remember, you can only submit 1 application for any Education Awards (General or TUD Blanchardstown) ran this year.
